Message I have a Z32 MAF on both sides I use SAFC to ave the signals and the airflow is physically balanced as well electronically (should be safer in the event of one filter somehow getting clogged) + more gradual bends than the elbows (the importance of good flow before the compressor shouldn't be understated). The downside is the look of the air filters hanging down with flower pots and that they block a bit more of the radiator but I do believe it is a marginally better functioning than the dual elbow method (but IMO neither is bad). But at the end of the day if you think it looks dumb, well yeah, you don't want it on your car!
